When I took out one of their life policies.

Have never has a pruduest moment that I know of.

With seventy-odd years to look back upon, it's hard to pick a single moment.

However completing my first performance poetry gig on stage (and receiving warm applause, rather than the deafening silence that I'd been expecting) a couple of years ago should probably feature on my list of 'proud moments'.

I think you should record yourself and play it for the assembled, Buenchico, and I say this not wearing my usual sarky hat.

Bring a little home-grown culture to this barren wasteland.

Apart from helping to raise my girls, every time I complete a cruise lecture, and people applaud, I feel proud.

Welcome back 😁

Much the same a Buenchico and Andy-hughes.

I was terrified (seriously I was shaking and my voice quavered at first) last year to do my first 'performance poet' show before an audience of poets and literary bods at a festival.

Acquitting myself well to applause mattered hugely.  I am also proud to see my words and stories in print in local publications and especially so when they matter enough to people for others to comment on them.

Why would you want to learn how to walk like a dog ?

I'm working on a website, so you might get my poetry inflicted upon you one day!

Thanks canary.

The birth of my 2 daughters, on cloud nine both times.

How's Selco?

My prudest moment was refusing to show my garter on my wedding day for a photograph.

My proudest moments when my kids were born.

My proudest moment was watching my son at his Passing Out HMS Raleigh last year. He is now Fleet Air Arm RN (RAF Marham), and just about to qualify as an aircraft engineering technician. He looks after the navy's F35s 🫠
