Because boys think that's a way of getting sex. And, to be fair, because young people don't know what love is. Once they've been around a bit, have matured and grown up, they do have a better idea and are a bit slower to declare love. They've also found out that saying it doesn't get sex with someone who has grown up, who will have sex or not on their own terms , regardless of that ,and who is likely to treat any such declaration with very great suspicion (or concern).

Boys don't have the monopoly on cheating.
Girls cheat just as much, if not more than boys.
Just read any agony column and you'll probably find the following...

Guy : "Why did my girl cheat on me?"
Answer: "Perhaps you weren't paying her enough attention"
or
Girl: "Why did my guy cheat on me?"
Answer "He's a rat, ditch him, he'll never change"

People do bad things regardless of gender.

i disagree with the people on the agony aunts then- a girl who cheats on a guy isnt worth it either. if you can sort it out, do, if you cant then thats life...
