are there some words that trip you up?

that you find hard to spell or worse say. I fall at the first hurdle of unequivocal, for reasons i can't explain, it comes out jumbled, and now i have to put it aside, or find an alternative. Indubitably is another tongue twister. any you care to share?

I have a word blindness for shop fitters, I always see shoplifters.

NoM, stationery comes from the stationer. You don't have job-names like that ending in -ar,* so it can't be a stationar.

I do use a spell-checker if something doesn't look right! The one word I used to have trouble with and I don't know why, was 'virulent' - no problems now though!

One word I see constantly spelt wrong is 'definitely' I've seen 'definately' and 'definatley' this week alone, and it's only just Wednesday!

People saying words wrong annoy me
Restauranteur instead of restrateur, chimley instead of chimney, and Febuary instead of february are just a few!!!!
