"A little learning is a dangerous thing"
("drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring,
there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
and drinking largely sobers us again".)
and
"Fools rush in where angels fear to tread."
Also the Jim Carrey / Kate Winslet movie title "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" was taken from the same poem which is, in my opinion, a staggeringly impressive work. The poem I mean, though the movie was no stinker!
