HERE, at The Answer Bank, we see a wide range of questions, from the puzzling and fascinating to the frankly unbelievable. Here's a selection of the best and worst posted in Phrases & Sayings over the last week:

Here's one that appears to be simple, but turns out to be a bit of a poser: wjreid wants to know how many words in English end with -en. wjreid thinks there are three. So far, there have been four posted - men, women, children and oxen (thanks to Bluetonic, Surabhi and Waterwolf). Bluetonicwanted to know if words like 'firemen'count, which would certainly bump up the number. Add your thoughts on that one by clicking here.

And the silliest question It has to be from Lyndsay who wants to know what male and female turkeys are called. Surely a questions which should have been directed to Animals and Nature However, Bayesp obliged with the answer (females are called hens and males, stags), so no need to rack your brains over that one.
