Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I'm having a bit of trouble in the top right corner. Can someone help me with a couple, so that I can then try to get the rest.

10A Group of pillars designed like fish? (10) I have T??R?????E

12A Tree's tipping over - fiddle about, then turn right? (6) I have ????FY

These will then help with the down clues I still need to get. Thanks.

Thanks greyfox. I had already thought of Torify (working it out as you explained)wondering if it was a word but could not see it in Chambers. I'll look again.

Still cannot find torify. I am not doubting it is correct, greyfox, but what exactly does torify mean? I assume 6D is esotery - Rare doctrine may be strangely frightening for old fool to go into (7)

It's under 'Tory' in Chambers. Torify of Toryfy: 'to infect with Tory principles'.
