Well, I seem to be almost at the end of this and have yet to decipher the precise quotation although I think I have the gist. Fastest grid fill for some time, so all the more reason to be careful.

Help! Are there any Techies amongst us? Fed up with messages saying Shockwave has crashed in Chrome, I've switched to Firefox. The AB postings don't display correctly, see my plea for help at :-http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Technology/Q

I had exactly the same problem with Chrome as Clamzy - continual messages that Shockwave had crashed with no indication of how to rectify the situation, and certain websites, notably AB, Wikipedia and my bank, not displaying properly. After reinstalling it several times with no luck, like Clamzy I reverted to Firefox which at present has no obvious flaws. Even my Techie son had no answer - he just recommended me to use another browser, saying Chrome was c***.
Up in the snowless mountains all weekend, so tackled this whilst watching Rory implode at the Masters ... (actually I think I might have finished this before he got to Amen Corner - certainly the golf's denouement was more gripping). Too much effort made to "musicalise" the clues which made too many of them overly straightforward IMHO.
Clamzy- had the same problem with Chrome after upgrade to version 10, which was a shame because I really like Chrome. I'm one of those experimenting with Chrome 11 beta, available here: http://www.google.com...landing/chrome/beta/, which seems to have knocked the bug out. Apparently fixing 10 was just not possible.
A busy weekend designing Kate Middleton's wedding dress (with nine-year-old granddaughter) so only started this late. However, for the first time ever I completed a Listener and didn't have to copy it out to send it in. Nice puzzle, not hard even for the likes of me, only slight quibble is that one can finish it (I think) without getting every detail worked out.
