Yes, the clue says '7' letters, the grid has 8. Any advice, ideas?

My grid from the Times Crossword Club site has 7 letters - 1st letter of 25d being the 6th letter of 24a

Am settling on 'groined' - same as 'groyned' but it fits in with 22 Down!
Rechecked my grid - 24 A. is def showing as 8(letters). 16 Across has the same thing - clue says 7 letters,grid shows 8.

I sorted 16 Across too - it's seven letters, and the '16' on the grid should be one square to the right.
