JMR - no - I am still getting people phoning me saying they think they've seen him, but so far - no Rover. It's been three months now - if he were a well cat I wouldn't worry, but the vet said he could keep well for three months then time is not on his side without medication ;-(

You're allowed, LiK - my clue was barking up the wrong tree!
He ran off on 11 May, when we were leaving the vets - silly old goat. He is a cat with a mind of his own, but we thought we would have had positive sightings by now. He is resourceful and strong and he can hunt, but he has kidney disease - he was very well when he escaped, very good blood results indeed at the vet's, so he can keep well for several weeks - after which, it doesn't look so good. Yes, we really hope that he's done what he did when he came to us, and attached himself to a nice place - but I hope they will look after him if his symptoms come back. He's chipped, so can be identified...
