1d: Cleaner has appeal, no end(4) C?A?
17d: Resolve, after much discussion throwing event abroad (6,3) - Is this HAMMER OUT? Not sure I get it if so...
23d: Voice of inferior quality? sounds like it (4) ?A?S


And I just don't 'get' these two...

7d: This car ran off the rails - in this? (5,5) I'm sure this is TRAIN TRACK but again, no idea why!
5a: A good man in coal mine is now too old (4,2). Pretty sure this is PAST IT. But yup... don't get it!
