Someone has asked it the other day, and it was answered SEDGE, but i have these letters in it ?? Are they right and am i wrong ?

tweed - double meaning
Tweed. As in the river on the border between Scotland and England. Flower rhyming with lower not cower.

I thought tweed = river but i didnt get the "stuff" ?
Maybe Harris Tweed, the stuff they make suits from?
an obscure meaning of 'stuff' is 'woollen'
