Thank you Euphemia my life can get started again you are very good at giving me the answers but how is it Leipzig, I thought it was that but it had nothing to do with France. It also looks as though I have 5D wrong I had demagoguing but voyager and bookeeper show that it is wrong. Anyway thanks very much, it was much appreciated.

I Can't recall the exact clue for 13a
but it has something to do with french
for the = le then swap zip and i = g.

The clue was City in France, the one next to dangerous bend in gorge. Parses as: Le 1 (z for dangerous bend in pig for gorge) thus Leipzig = City
