The KM Links Game - September week 4 & results

Good morning all and special thanks to cliffyg, ulysses and owllady for all their efforts Saturday morning, in my absence .... there's nothing more infuriating than a modem that goes walkabout for no good reason and of course the help line goes with it, for the weekend !!

I was doing a very creditable 'fishwife' !!


and all I can say about the matches ..... way too many choices !!

No surprise that points were very thin on the ground, no takers for Stone Cold, an insightful lysander took the points with Liquid Crystal and the STAR TURN ... wickedtongue with 3 for two correct !!

All in all, one best forgotten asap, so you'll be delighted to know that next month is a long one ... 5 weekends and hopefully lots of points to be won, so same place and time, next Saturday, I'll see you all then [modem permitting] skz

Morning skz, sorry to hear about your modem problems and I do sympathise with your fishwife reaction!
I think I had three points from week 2; not that it makes any difference. Ironically I would have had six last week if I'd been able to post - couldn't get to a computer but wrote down my guesses from the crossword and got three correct. But hey, it's only a game! See you next week.

Wow, joint second!!! Thanks Steff. When my modem went walkabout I managed to use an unsecured wifi in the area - maybe your neighbours are more sensible? Off to Italy on Thurs so maybe missing for next 2 weekends -depends on generosity of the hotels, as I have no intention of paying for wifi access!! Bye for now

Steff, sorry you had all those problems with your modem- it is very frustrating when your computer lets you down!
