Help, please. Would someone please confirm that 3d is KEELMAN. I know it fits, but the definition does not really correspond with the clue. Thanks in advance for any help!

You're right with 'Keelman' - Chambers has -

(keeler or) keelman - (n) someone who works on a barge

Thanks. In Wikipedia it defines it as someone who works in shipbuilding.

Etude is French for Study. In UK used by musicians to mean a study piece,

'Keelman' clue was exactly the Chambers def I gave...
