Help! My brain's turned to mush on 5d - a rebellion such as matters in meeting? (I have a-g-i-g)

and 8d - outcome of biopsy cheers the spirit (I have -m-c-e)

Tks in advance - bet these will be glaringly obvious to everyone else.

not got the paper yet?
8d. Psyche (in the clue).
1. could be arguing
5d arising
Question Author
Damn I can see psyche now - which means my 10a is wrong. Woe.
Whats the clue for 10a ?
Question Author
Hi Mark, it's: Practise wrestling without one? It's impossible.

t-i-e-s

Looking at it again, could be triceps?
If 10a was wrong does that change any of the known letters for 5d? I think 5d probably is ARISING ( a rebellion is a rising, and matters arising at a meeting) but it doesn't seem a great clue to me
triceps - anagram of 'practise' minus the 'a' (one)
Yep its triceps. (anagram of practise without the 'a')
Question Author
talking of not great clues, if 10a is triceps (anag of practise without the 'a') it's an even worse one!
Question Author
Anyway seem to be sorted now, merci one and all. Sue x
10a triceps
Must admit I don't quite understand "the impossible" bit.
You can't wrestle without triceps
and anag of practise w/out 'a'
The clue doesn't quite work for me though- is wrestling referring to an anagram, or to wrestling with/without triceps, or both?
Hi Factor 30, I took 'wrestling' as the anagram indicator. However if your interpretation is correct then its a very clever clue.
