I agree with Sandy - a tench is definitely NOT a game or food fish - I have been a freshwater angler all my life . I do agree though that it is Tench- the compiler just doesn't know her/his fish!

no way is tench a game fish. for game fishing you have to have a game licence but for tench you need only a coarse fishing licence
