Hmm - three tricky ones left this week:

4D. Ape here (2,4) I- R-C- Is it 'In Rock' (as in Gibraltar)?
21A. Shades of 13 (3) B-- The answer to 13 is 'Sunshine' as in panda.
18D. This Tina Turner's 16 (5) T--C- The answer to 16 is 'Sweetie', also as in panda. NB second letter of 18D is the same as third letter of 21A.

Anybody solved them? Any assistance much appreciated.

Can you explain for the uninitiated what panda has to do with sunshine? I don't live in Britain --- maybe that's the problem! Then it might be possible to help with 18 or 21.................
and the connection between panda and sunshine/sweetie is not clear to someone who has lived in England all their life
4 down is "in rome" - 12 across - amende
Sunshine and Sweetie are the names of the pandas who have just come from China to live at Edinburgh Zoo.
ah, that explains it - i'm not into cuddly animal stories so the names passed me by
I don't even understand "in Rome":do you have to be Scottisch to follow this thing at all???!!!
ape someone...when in Rome do as the Romans do

Thank you, everybody, and sorry for causing panda confusion. I got it all sorted out, once I got the incorrect 'C' in 4D amended.
Just in case you're still around,AB:what were the other 2 answers,& why? Spent so much time trying to crack the clues I'd like to know!

For Maurice: 18D was 'Twice', because 'Tina' twice is an anagram (hence 'turner') of Tian Tian (Sweetie), the female panda. 21A turns out to have been 'B/W' or 'B&W' (black and white) which are the shades of a panda. Hope this week's puzzle is less devious!
