4D. Ape here (2,4) I- R-C- Is it 'In Rock' (as in Gibraltar)?
21A. Shades of 13 (3) B-- The answer to 13 is 'Sunshine' as in panda.
18D. This Tina Turner's 16 (5) T--C- The answer to 16 is 'Sweetie', also as in panda. NB second letter of 18D is the same as third letter of 21A.
Anybody solved them? Any assistance much appreciated.
Can you explain for the uninitiated what panda has to do with sunshine? I don't live in Britain --- maybe that's the problem! Then it might be possible to help with 18 or 21.................
For Maurice: 18D was 'Twice', because 'Tina' twice is an anagram (hence 'turner') of Tian Tian (Sweetie), the female panda. 21A turns out to have been 'B/W' or 'B&W' (black and white) which are the shades of a panda. Hope this week's puzzle is less devious!
