Why does this sort of occurence leave one with a feeling of impending doom in regards to administering the 'greatest show on earth'?

I'm sure there were many problems in organising the other Olympic Games, they just weren't publicised in this country...............

Websites crash, it is not the end of the world.

TicketMaster are sh*t, i wouldn't let them sell tickets for a jumble sale.

It is going well actually. Everything's ahead of or bang on schedule. Greece for example was still finishing the stadium and athletes accomodation days before they were due to arrive. It's not a big deal at all.
