I tried colossae - submitted and have 1 error - most people have 2 errors

colossae seems to be correct-plural survivors

I have just submitted it with COLOSSAE and had one wrong. Nobody has all right. Can only think that it might be COLOSSAL, but can't see the word play for either answer.
