Please can you type the clue again. If it's "game for more than 1" then does it refr to the answer to clue number one. Do you have any letters? I'm not sure why chess springs to mind when it could be one of so many games- does it fit with other letters?

possibly jack, as in every man jack, could be taken to mean an individual i.e. 1 so that 'more than 1' would be jacks, in that case
