4d Cedi
5d Morbidezza
6d non-fat = 'on' + 'FA' (Football Association) inside 'nt' (centre letters of 'voluNTeers')
on FA in NT...middle letters of centre
Question Author
Don't understand why on either CEDI or MORBIDEZZA, but thank you. It gives me 9ac anyway as ASMOULDER. NONFAT now is all clear!
Last one is EWKING
Question Author
Ah yes, I see. Thanks one and all for the rapid response.
4d Cedi (as given by Captain2) = 'i' (one) + 'dec'(eased) reversed ('going north')
5d half the cheese = mozza(rella)
R(ultimate letter of poor)
stay = bide as in bide your time
asmoulder - the H in shoulder turns to S
5d is MOZZA(RELLA) around R (last letter of poor) and BIDE (stay).
