Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Quite a challenging puzzle this week, between extra letters, clashes and redundant definitions - and one completely normal clue. An inspired guess at the 11-letter across led me to the quote and lots of working backwards to make sure it all comes together. I thought this was Listener difficulty/quality, and deserves a special prize for length of the preamble.

In Grammar, a tense also known as the past continuous.

Hello All. Thank yopu for the good wishes DocHH, no different meds I fear, just have to suffer the consequences once a year! Have managed much of the grid but am still at a loss about the clashes despite the aid and assistance. Am I correct in thinking 7 red entries for the clashes? I thinkl the brain is out of gear as been away for Himself's Biggy. Cake is made but not for eating until the joint Biggy party in August. Yes DocHH, we are off to India for the very first time, all the tourist buildings of Rahjasthan(?) and then Shimla.....can't wait.
