Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

ps I searched by typing in 4478 to get answers to ST4478. The page it returns does not contain the answer to 13a

If you'd searched st4478 you would have found 13a no problem

When using the AB search box I suggest you type in a key word from the clue. In this case the key word OASIS throws up this clue at the top of the list

For comparison, I did a search using simply "4478", which returned 11 clue solutions (1a,5d,10a,13a,13d,14d,15a,16a,16d,19a and 24d). I also did a search using "ST4478" as the criteria. This returned 6 solutions (1d, 13a,2d,9a,18d,20a,25a ) Notice that only one solution was common to both searches i.e. 13a. In my opinion, this is a strange result for a modern search engine which would usually return all results with the search "4478" including the subset listed as "ST4478"
Moral : you need to search using both criteria

Yep, PIANOLA.
P for pressure, IAN is the man, LA is the city (of Los Angeles) with IAN and LA being placed about O the first letter (the leader) of oasis.
