Making it void seems a bit unfair on those who have already posted it off.

Yes it does, but maybe some won't finish it if they try to get 2 words of 5 & 3 letters for the clue -does that even make any sense :-)

I don't mind because I don't do this crossword but I would have simply filled in the spaces on the grid (5,2) with CLOSE UP and assumed the 5,3 was a misprint.

Anyway, I recall they've messed up before
