Straightforward puzzle with no real difficuties. I know I'm a pedant but I make it that 15 answers produce new words however I have made mistakes with my addition before.

Not too much of a "Difficulty".

Hello Twit-Who
I found quite a few gifts on the first pass through the clues, then struggled with the SE corner. Had to read the rubric a couple of times before I could make sense of the letters missing from the subsidiary indication and modify the entries. 6d is in my version, but as part of a definition.
I'd agree with your last comment, in all senses of the word.
As you say 15 - but no wrong clue lengths or missing bars. A clever construction I thought but the clues were on the easy side. Re 6d - what is ODE? I cannot find it in OED.

Oxford Dictionary of English as opposed to Oxford English Dictionary. I don't have either but as DocHH says the answer is in Chambers 2011 as part of a definition.

Yes, clever construction but not quite challenging enough to do.
An enjoyable and straightforward puzzle. Only one editorial error, I think that can be regarded as perfection for ev.
Congratulations to all of you who have had no trouble with this puzzle.
I regret to say that although I have completed the grid, I have failed miserably to go any further. The nine clues with a missing letter are mostly a mystery to me except for two of them and the 14 answers with misprints I have no idea about although I wonder whether members mentioned in rubric is some sort of clue.
If there is anyone out there willing to give me a big push in the right direction i shall be delighted. Thanks in advance

The 9 letters you have in numerical order is in Chambers - just Google.

Sorry Shoni70, just realised you don't have all 9 letters. Once you have these it's not difficult so perhaps closer look at the clues is the only way.

Twit-Who gave a large hint in putting Difficulty in parenthesis in the original post, and I responded by referring to all senses of the word. However you really need more than 2 of the 9 letters, so go back and revisit the clues as well.
I was late starting this week's puzzle because of the golf & the celebrations thereafter!

As others have said, a neat & clever crossword as I've come to expect from Myno T
Thank you Twit-Who and Doc HH. I should be ashamed of myself . Aa an ex teacher I have always stressed upon my pupils to read the rubric thoroughly and that was the reason why I found it so difficult !!
I shall have to be more careful in the future.
Anyone else get 16 new words (10 letters changed, 4 of them unches) ?
