1ac strauss think composers
set fair seems okay from a compiler
4d.Turning over while= as reversed
wrestling ring=ngri
american=a
21d. Not sure annular or angular
4dn is Sangria - a type of punch (loosely!)
I'm stuck on 21 down - can't be annulus as it doesn't fit with my other letters.
I can't see the wordplay for ANNULAR, but it seems more likely than ANGULAR
21d.Annular ( angram of unresonable - obese)
It's got to be annular to fit in with cosine
well done dannyk

16ac Snake to drive over playing surface featuring snakes and ladders? (5) ?O?R? COBRA?
If 21 dn was ANNULAR that would give me an R as the sixth letter of 29ac Makes beloved Kennedy et al rise regularly (7) ?N?E?R? ENDEARS?
Please can you explain why it's annular? I understand the "ring shaped " bit. Where's the anagram?
see dannyk13's answer, Lavender77
yes - it's endears. Look at the alternate letters of Kennedy et al rise
16a will be BOARD
Lavender 77 see my post of 11.02
dannyk's answer makes no sense
Boa (snake)+ rD (Dr for drive backwards)
Lavender 77 If you take the letters obese from unreasonable and than rearrange the remaining letters you get annular.
