8 down - Arousing snogs and then heartless developments (3-5,6) The answer seems to be ONE-NIGHT STANDS, but, apart from recognising that it incorporates all the letters of 'snogs and then', I can't see the wordplay. Can anyone explain, please?

anagram of

Snogs and then + [I]nvolvement[T]

Heartless involvement
So does the clue say 'involvements' rather than 'developments'?

I'm sure mamayalynne's solution is correct but I'm not clear where the definition is.
Arousing snogs and then heartless involvement? [3,5,6]
Arousing [snogs and then] - arousing being anagram indicator

[I]nvolvemen[T]
Sorry Factor - Heartless involvements is of course the definition.
Thanks- so the HEARTLESS INVOLVEMENT is used twice- once to give the I(nvolvement)T and once to give the definition.

A bit too tricky for me that.
I suppose it's because it's plural
I could be well wrong Factor, is how I see it anyway.
Maybe IT appears in the clue somewhere- (It arouses snogs...?)
No - I have the puzzle here

Arousing snogs and then heartless involvement? [3,5,6]
Thanks. I'll stick to identifying advert tunes I think
