Can any of you clever people help with 6d to finish?
Fissiparous tendency of wayward miss holding on to letters page. I have S-L-T-I-M. I'm tempted to go with spilttism but can't parse the answer
Thanks

Sorry, that should read splittism
anagram of litt p (letters page?) with miss?
Question Author
Thats partly why I was tempted but why LITT for letters?
That's just Latin -- the same root from which our word lit(t)erature (in many European languages) originates!
Question Author
Thanks for that. I've come across LIT before but never with the double T
Anagram of MISS around P (for page) and LITT (as in D.Litt - doctor of letters)
