Unsure of two-advice appreciated.14ac. This singer's almost blind(4)?ING. is it "bing" as in Crosby? If so where does blind fit in?

If your letters are correct I keep thinking of Binge (as in blind drunk)
but it doesn't really mean blind.

mine's the 11th edition reprinted in 2009 but i'm surprised it's not in earlier versions since it sounds like a definition that would have been around for years
