Crossword Help

i would like to thank you all for the help you give me,it's really appreciated.i enjoy doing crosswords but i seem to get stuck at a certain point.my neighbour gives me all her sunday papers after she is finished with them so i can do the crosswords.i can get this lot posted now,and thanks again,if i did'nt get help i would just give up. x x x x x kate.

I'll add my thanks to yours if you don't mind please slinky, There are many many times that i would not finish a crossword without the help of my friendly Abers.
Quite often I will be down to the last clue, and I'll have been through all my fact books, encyclopedias, googled, and still not come up with the answer, and a plea for help usually turns the answer up in seconds, and more importantly ( to me anyway ) the reason for the answer, if it is a cryptic crossword.
