Puzzled by 15 ac. (5) Herons fly by river ?EDGE - have gone through Chambers and there is no reference to Herons albeit there is a sedge fly but I dont get the connection with a river - can any of the usual cruciverbalists par excellence assist? I have the whole thing complete apart from this

Sedge collective noun for herons and the river sedge

that should be rivers (plural) incidentally if that makes a difference

Group name for herons, and sedge fly (according to Chambers) are common along rivers.
