Is anyone else cross that you can no longer send the You magazine crossword in the post to enter the competition? Now its going to cost a pound per text and even more to telephone and they dont even want the crossword answers.Just how many a's there are.One of the pleasures was not making any mistakes and filling the answers in neat and tidy. Now it doesnt matter as no one will see it! Im really miffed!

i threw the magazine away by mistake.so retrieved it and started to do the crossword then realised you cant post it so it went back in the bin,my friend and i do all the crosswords between us and share the postage .Also would share the prize if we ever win it,but no more i am not spending that money on a text!!!
What a bunch of moaning minnies. At least there'll be a better chance for the rest of us being drawn out.
Remember that the Mail is a business. It pays out £1000s of pounds every week on its puzzle prizes, yet when we send in answers by post, it doesn't get a penny of that. I can understand the move, but it means I will not be entering any more.
I'm afraid the only answer is to boycott the paper - it is truly ridiculous that a newspaper that is quite expensive should suddenly require us to spend much more than the cost of a first class stamp to enter. Most people are finding it quite hard enough without incurring the extra expense.
I only buy the Mail on Sunday for the three crosswords. Do those and throw the paper in the bin as its so bloody useless. I used to send them all in hoping to win something. Also the You crossword and Lancelot crossword have now got a lot harder than they used to be. I think I'll probably stop buying the paper soon, it's costing me £1.50 for the paper and a quid to send a text so I am really cross!
