Help needed with last two.31ac.No time assured?Leave Mephisto(7,two words) OLD?I?K. Think its "old nick" but why?
33ac.Repeated urgent appeal around resorts for American novelist(9,two words)DOS?A?SO?. I understand there is an American writer "dos passos" but don't understand how clue works. Explanations appreciated.

Not sure about 7, although time might be something to do with spell in prison for nicking something? I might be completely on the wrong lines.

9, though, is do (short for "ditto") + SOS around spas.
