Ah! I've only been attempting them for about 4. I did a course with Tom Moorey who is mephisto, a delightful man. I rely on the Chambers xword dictionary a lot..... I don't consider it cheating, as still on the learning curve!

I like your reply, Danny! Lets me off the hook! Tim was all for it and in fact he gave all of us on the course a copy of Chambers. My husband, who was 20 years older than me ...died 7 years ago... would be 88 now, and was a wizard at xwords,but while with him, never had any tuition. I love the daily challenge I must say.
