This has me stumped.
Newspaper in fifties United States humorously recalled years with vigour (9)

The answer must be ZESTFULLY
FT (newspaper) inside LL (fifties) US (United States) EZ (=humorously???) all reversed, then append Y (=years)
But why is EZ = humorously?
