Dear Bibblebub, Lie-in King et al,
Is it just me or have the recent cryptic crosswords become much more difficult with very convoluted clues? I used to enjoy them and have a good go, but now................. aargh!

Can't honestly say that I've been aware of a change in difficulty, getting stuck on some puzzles comes and goes over the months.

laracroft, I agree with you 100%!!!! Today's Jumbo 1056 is possibly the worst ever! But determined to finish it. Often get the answer, but cannot parse them. Housework and gardening will have to wait!
