Thank you Captain2, finished at last
My pleasure, I've learned something today as well!
Was he the one who sang 'Come into the garden, Maud. I'm here at the gate alone' ?
Close but no cigar Tilly.

Come into the Garden, Maud

Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron (1809–92)

COME into the garden, Maud,
For the black bat, night, has flown,
Come into the garden, Maud,
I am here at the gate alone;
And the woodbine spices are wafted abroad, 5
And the musk of the rose is blown.

Ah Tilly2 I don't think Yeats sang, but must check that out. About six weeks ago I visited the cemetery where he is buried.
