Is it because you've won a prize? Someone else was saying something like this on the regular speccie thread - have a look.

Thanks roslyn251254 ...... I haven't won a Spectator crossword for a very long time, but I still live in hope ! lol
Can't explain it teacher1, but I also received the form!
I have won the prize on occasion, so assumed that maybe their accounts department just sent it out to anyone they have made a payment to in the past?
Ditto.

I intend returning it and explaining why I have had payments from them in the past.
My nephew has recently won a prize & has also received this form, which was sent to his previous address, from where he won a prize a couple of years ago.
Has anyone who has been sent this form also received their prize money?!
We have received 2 of these today ( one addressed to me, one to my husband)
I've won twice but it was ages ago (crossword numbers 1981 and 1984) - one was in my name Mrs RJC , the other was in the name Mr & Mrs JR ..., so it must be to do with that.
Think I'll just ignore them!
Yes, I received one of these. I assume it is because I won a prize recently. It looks as if it has been sent automatically to anybody who has received a cheque from the Spectator within living memory. I intend to ignore it -- and start to worry only if my name comes out of the hat again!
