Could you help with the following clues, please. Restraining (9ltrs) d?t?r?e?t - I want to put either determent or deterrent but not really sure. Also grew into (6lts) ?e?a?e - again I think it is became but not sure. Any help much appreciated. A very Happy New Year to you all. Four Clubs

deterring would be better.

Oh dear. The "t" comes from entertains (shows hospitality to 10ltrs) so hopefully deterrent is correct! Many thanks also Tilly2. Four Clubs
