Just catching up on the Daily Mail's Pitcherwits from a few weeks ago (what a busy life I do lead!). I have therefore already got the answers but, as usual, I need some help understanding some of them:

11 across - Sky article the Queen has included - the answer is 'ether'.

4 down - Born as points given - the answer is 'nee' (I do know that 'nee' means 'born as' but it's the 'points given' I don't understand).

6 down - Cat, whom one trained at sound speed - twice - the answer is 'mach two' (I don't get the 'cat, whom one trained' bit).
