10a. End (8) I have c*n*l*d* - suggesting conclude - but it doesn't fit in with
6d. Response (8) I have *e*d**a*n - which ought to be reaction - except for the d in conclude.
I shall not sleep till I know what these should be! Thanks in advance.

Sorry - shows my state of mind. It is 8 letters and I have *e*d*a*n
but the d only if conclude is right and the a if sprat is right for 13a small fish (5).

Don't think 10a can be complete or 9d feedback because
4d solo(5) appears to be alone - and complete would give m instead of n
and 17a gather (7) appears to be convene - and feedback would give a k in the position of the 2nd n in convene.
