Louvre is a type of lamp or turret that allows smoke to escape.

Thank you
Why ETRURIA for 11ac? Josiah Wedgewood factory in the Potteries > E (English) + TRUR (Truro without ring) + I (one) and A.
BTW Can anyone help with 8ac: Set meals? (2, 7) T- D-N-E-S. Must be dinners, but what's the two-letter word?
And 30 ac: Lag who wouldn't? (7,8) E-C-P- D-R-S-N--. Must be escape something, but can't see the second word at all.
That (7,8) E-C-P- D-R-S-N-- must be a misprint for (8,7) E-C-P-D -R-S-N--, clearly 'escaped prisoner'.
tv dinners
escaped prisoner

Escaped prisoner?
Cryptomaniac - you have the correct working for ETRURIA and that was the name of Wedgwood's site

Thanks all. I'd stupidly put the word break in the wrong place, so just didn't see 'escaped prisoner'
