Azed

Has anybody worked out how to access the Azed from the new Grauniad website? I've managed to print off the Everyman, but Azed is, as always, quite a bit more elusive.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I can't find any link for Azed on the home page of the website, so I've had to go out and buy the Observer, as Sunday just isn't Sunday without Mr Crowther's tantalising titbits. Perhaps this is a way of increasing that flaccid organ's circulation, so to speak. Or, more likely, perhaps it's just another Grauniad gremlin.
I never have a problem.
I click on the AZED puzzle . I get the next page. A JAVA pop-up comes up.
I click on cancel.
Then on the preamble for the puzzle, you see a line:
Click here to download a printable version of this crossword.
You click on the word "here" and you get pdf version of the puzzle.
I hope this helps.

The Chambers Dictionary (2011) is recommended. It does not give an abbreviation referred to in 20.

Try this:
Copy the last link that ends in "pdf" in your browser and see if the puzzle appears. It did for me.
Most (not all) weeks I do this puzzle.

Sounds like you're trying to access it through the beta version of the Grauniad website. There isn't a link to crosswords, and a search brings up a random set of current and old links. Azed is missing. To return to the current website, go to the button on the top right (three horizontal bars in a circle). The dropdown menu gives you the option to revert to the current version, where you'll find everything you need.
