Agreed, not the sort of Listener you can roll around inside your mind before savouring the afterthought. I'm not sure I want what the phrase offers, but this was nevertheless quite enjoyable.

Yes - a little easier (well, much easier) than I feared it was going to be, but it speaks for itself. It raised a few smiles throughout and (unsurprisingly) there were some very neat clues.

As I read the preamble I thought that this might be an early finish, but then, at the critical moment, my printer curled up its toes and died. Now I have 2 tasks - find a new printer and still a Listener to solve.

Good fun, acting as its own exemplar rather well, so thanks to Tibea and the Editors (there's more than one?!)
Mind you, in my current debilitated state, I'm not sure I'd have managed anything much beyond a romp, and there were plenty of self administered kickings along the way since I'm running on dim. I even needed to work out what the phrase was (I was just going to leave it to last) to get my two last, not particularly tricky entries.
I wondered if there might be a TLS style coin *** at 27, but thankfully it was properly checked.

The editors are KEA and TIBURON. That looked ominous as a combination but has been delightful fun. Indeed, a lovely example of the careful setting and wide-ranging types of clue that they obviously want from their setters.

Yes, it was a bit too easy for a Listener and I think would have been improved by omitting word-lengths, so that it would not have been obvious which were the 12 with a common definition. However I think some of the clues were outstanding.

As usual, I agree with Contendo. The word length difference made it much easier. Entertaining but very straightforward, even for the more challenged among us (i.e. me) - I would have been comfortably in the Friday club but for need to make self beautiful and go to "do".

Good to encourage newcomers to have the occasional simple solve, but my preference would be not to see too many {three word phrase}.

After a couple of very easy weeks I was expecting something a lot tougher. Three easy puzzles in a row seems odd scheduling, but perhaps the editors thought we needed three weeks to recover from "No Robbery".

Having said it was easy, I confess to having trouble construing 31ac and 25dn, though I don't have any doubt about my entries. I don't get 31 at all, and in 25d I cannot explain one of the repeated letters, nor can I explain "missing baseline" except in a very non-Ximenean way.

Any hints as to what I may be missing?
