I know the answers I just can't fathom out the whole clue

8d- is tidies , clue spruces up items of clothing worn by princess, affectionately remembered

6d- is tapioca, clue bit of a blow, ten around for dessert....well I know its a dessert but dont understand the rest of it

2d- is pineapple, clue under tree, place-monkey's swallowed fruit....I know its tree and fruit but where does the monkey come in???

21a- is organza, clue, thin material in newspaper article is unknown....I know the material but what else?
