Hi, I'm struggling on the last 3 questions. Any help much appreciated!

I'm no Latin expert, but doesn't 'vidI' mean 'saw', rather than 'see', (vidE), as given in Chambers?

Yes, you're right. I should have said video. Think vide might be the instruction- see. But can't remember the name now.
