Stuck on two - 43a. In the Roman naming convention, a title appended to a family name on account of a victory, exploit or deed (7) I have ?G?O?E?. (The only word I can come up with is COGNOMEM, which is obviously not the correct answer.) 55a. In calligraphy, a short downstroke as in the letters i, m, n, u. (5) I have M?A?M. (Probably summat wrong somewhere!) TIA
