I heard that an ancient text had recently been discovered which had led great concern amongst the Riverdancers:

The arm movements.


It's a kind of a joke, but like slartibartfast, I'm not very good at them.....
The riverdancers are very free with the arm movements - real Irish dancing the arms are stiff along the torso while dancing unless it's sean nós - a relaxed form of Irish dance usually in houses and pubs, for competition the riverdancers would never win (hands down)
