Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

What A simple but fun idea, but well executed and a good few smiles raised. And a very full grid of theme stuff in the end. This made for a very enjoyable distraction on a sun. Thank you gaston.

Hello Cagey,
Despite being on the less demanding edge of an EV, this was definitely most enjoyable. I populated the grid more or less in clue order, down to 20a, which quite quickly resolved the unclued down clue next to 8d. The extra letters then confirmed the Fate and the members of half of the thematic group, and how they should be highlighted to represent their fate. That made the southern section of the grid even less demanding.
It has been a lovely sunny day here on the south coast. Time to top up my glass with a second preprandial Glenmorangie!

I suspect it is only available to download if you subscribe to The Telegraph. It may be possible to just subscribe to Telegraph Crosswords, rather than the whole paper, but I get the paper version!

The crossword part of the site is a separate subscription -- £30 I think or so for a year. Alternatively I'm sure some kind soul would be happy to send you a copy by email.

I thought the idea of the puzzle was simple and elegant, and it is the underlying idea that makes me like or not like a puzzle. For me the difficulty is largely irrelevant. Was not as hard as some, but not as easy as some others. If it had been easy and dull then I might grumble, or probably just not comment. I hate starting these threads, but enjoyed this puzzle enough to want to.
