Mac - how's life on my favourite island? Where are you based?

I am in St Lawrence Margo.

First time I ever flew (12yrs old) was when we had our first holiday "abroad" and stayed at a holiday camp at Plemont Bay.Still got the photo I took of the Vickers Viking we flew in. Happy days. :-)

We stayed in St Brelades bay several times. It's such a lovely island - Beauport must be one of the prettiest bays anywhere. Would love to come back but it's so expensive now.

Wow! that brings back memories.I flew Vickers Viking on home leaves from Germany in the fifties.

That holiday camp has recently been demolished and the whole area put back to nature.
